MASCA NSW Foodhub
A free pantry for Malaysian students in NSW. No proof, no forms, no questions.
Groceries, rice, instant noodles, cooking basics, and fresh items when we have them.
You don't need to prove anything, explain anything or sign anything. If money is tight this week, come and take what you need. That's the whole idea.
Rice, noodles, pasta, oil, sauces, flour
Tuna, beans, soup, UHT milk
Eggs, vegetables, bread
Labelled and kept separate wherever we can
Unopened, in date, non-perishable. If you're moving out or heading home for the break, this is the best place for whatever is left in your cupboard.
Where to drop offWe need hands for sorting, packing and pickup days. A couple of hours, once a month — and it counts towards your volunteering record.
Volunteer with usNo. There's no income test, no documents and no questions. If you're a Malaysian student in NSW, you're eligible.
No. Bookings go to the welfare team only. We don't publish names, we don't tell your university, and we don't photograph anyone collecting.
Once per pickup round, so there's enough to go around. If you need more than that, tell us privately and we'll work something out.
We label halal-certified items clearly and keep them separate wherever we can. The stock list marks them too, so you can check before you book.
Yes. Just tell us how many people you're collecting for when you book, so we pack enough.
The welfare team can point you to emergency support, hardship grants and free counselling at your university. One message, no judgement.
